SD Gameday, LLC

Myself and a fellow athletic trainer have started our own company and the name of that company is SD Gameday, LLC.  The business is an athletic training scheduling agent for programs throughout Bergen County.  As of now we are sticking to bergen county but we would like to expand and work throughout the state of NJ.  

Here is how it works:

A program (HS, Rec. etc) is having a game and would like to have an athletic trainer cover their event.  Everyone knows that the presence of an athletic trainer is better for the player, coaches and parents.  If they do need someone for their game(s) they just shoot an e-mail or make a phone call to SD Gameday.  We will place the event you need covered throughout our network of Certified Athletic Trainers that have come on board with us to fill the needs of those programs.

This is also a benefit for the full time athletic trainers at the high school level because at times there is a need for someone to either pick up some slack at the high school or someone is needed for substitution work.  As an athletic trainer we do have sick days that we can use, but sometimes it is difficult to take a day off because we are dedicated individuals and we know that if we are not present at our jobs then everything goes uncovered.  Now that SD Gameday has formed, a full time high school athletic trainer now has the availability of finding coverage for a day or two without the hassel of making many unproductive phone calls. 

We also have in our network Certified American Red Cross Instructors certified in the following:

First Aid

Adult/Child/Infant CPR for the Lay Responder

Adult/Child/Infant CPR for the Professional Resquer
